PHIL 355 American Philosophy
Critical survey of classical American philosophy. Authors may include Emerson, Thoreau, Fuller (Transcendentalists), Peirce, James, Royce, Dewey, Addams (Pragmatists), and others. Topics may include metaphysics, epistemology, ethics, aesthetics, philosophy of religion, and social-political philosophy.
