ESCI 129 Meteorology: Earth’s Weather

How the Earth’s atmosphere affects weather and climate. Topics include atmospheric composition, structure, and basic motions, high- and low-pressure systems, severe weather, and the nature of climate change. Three hours of lecture and one two-hour laboratory per week. This course is equivalent to GSCI 129 and credit will not be earned if this course has been previously taken.
