DNAP 525 Advanced Physical Health Assessment
Lectures, demonstrations, group discussions, anatomy lab and simulations presenting advanced physical health assessment of all body systems. Includes principles of physical assessment of patients with emphasis on cardiovascular, pulmonary, neurologic, renal and endocrine function; interpretation of lab data and selected specialty examinations such as pulmonary function studies, chest X-rays, 12-Lead EKG's, and cardiology studies. One two-hour lecture and one two-hour lab per week.
