MFT 585 Marriage and Family Therapy Internship (Plan E)

Placement in a community agency providing marital and family therapy under supervision. Internship includes 15-20 hours on-site at agency per week plus weekly 3-hour supervision with MFT faculty. Internship may be repeated as needed to complete minimum requirement of 12 consecutive months requiring 300 clinical contact hours (150 must be “relational”) with minimum 100 hours of supervision by Program Clinical Supervisors, 50 hours of supervision must use “raw” clinical data (audio/video/live supervision formats). For graduation, students should have completed 100 hours during practicum with a total of 400 hours (100 during practicum and 300 during internship). This course may be repeated as necessary.
